Hello! My name is Kiera James and I am the LipLoveLine Summer 2023 intern! I am a rising senior at Virginia Commonwealth University and I’m studying Mass Communications with a concentration in Public Relations, along with a minor in General Business. Beauty and makeup have always been a passion of mine and with the combination of being an avid user of social media and cosmetics, I am excited to be working at LipLoveLine this summer as the public relations intern!

What is your go-to lip product?: My signature lip is a brown lip liner topped with a sheer-red lip gloss/oil!

What is your day-to-day makeup routine?: My makeup routine fluctuates on a day-to-day basis depending on the event or how I’m feeling, but for the most part, it mostly consists of a skin tint and/or concealer, blush, mascara, highlight, and lipgloss!

What is one beauty product you can’t leave the house without?: One beauty product that I can never leave the house without is most importantly; my chapstick. I can forget everything else and be okay, but I need lip balm!

What is your favorite thing about LipLoveLine?: My favorite thing about LipLoveLine is the message that the brand puts out about embracing your natural beauty and I think lip products can definitely help a person do that!

Why did you join LipLoveLine?: I joined LipLoveLine because I was inspired by Briana’s work as a black businesswoman! I also thought this would be an excellent opportunity to learn more about the field I plan to work in, in an industry I am passionate about.
